is a world-champion martial artist who began training at the age of four. She has earned over a dozen world titles, was featured on National Geographic TV, and was the first female judge on ESPN for martial-arts tricking. Since moving to Hollywood in 2005, Mindy has worked as a stunt performer on blockbusters directed by Michael Bay, Christopher Nolan, and others.
Mindy’s creativity and passion for storytelling led her down the path to become an action designer. Over the last decade, she has fight-choreographed and stunt-coordinated commercials and music videos for artists including Lady Gaga, Metallica, Skrillex, and Childish Gambino. In 2018, Mindy co-wrote and directed her first narrative short film, BOUNTY, and in 2019 she stunt-coordinated and fight-choreographed the feature film THE ART OF SELF-DEFENSE, directed by Riley Stearns and starring Jesse Eisenberg.
Beyond her live-action work, Mindy has done motion-capture work with James Cameron, Disney, and Weta, developing character movement for Alita in ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, various Na’vi from the upcoming AVATAR sequels, and animatronic characters within the theme park Pandora—The World of Avatar. Working in video games, she has done motion-capture performance for characters such as Kitana in MORTAL KOMBAT XI and Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Cheetah, and many others in INJUSTICE II.
